Description
High-capacity 120V power for a 12V energy system
The Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 brings inverter power, battery charging and AC transfer capability together in one system component. It is designed for a properly engineered 12V RV, marine or off-grid electrical system where dependable 120VAC power and substantial charging capacity matter.
This model delivers a 3,000VA inverter rating and 2,400W of continuous output at 25°C. When shore or generator AC is available, its 120A charger can recharge a compatible 12V battery bank. The 50A transfer switch supports a clean transition between AC input and inverter operation.
Why this model stands out
- One coordinated power component: inverter, battery charger and transfer switch are built into the MultiPlus-II platform.
- 12V system match: designed around a nominal 12V DC battery bank and 120VAC output.
- Serious charging capacity: up to 120A of battery charging from AC input.
- Mobile-use listing: the exact model is listed to UL 458.

Choose the right AC configuration
This is the standard 120V version of the 12V 3000VA MultiPlus-II. If your system design specifically calls for the separate 2x120V split-phase configuration, select that model instead. Battery voltage, conductor size, overcurrent protection, AC distribution and battery-bank design should all be specified for the finished system before installation.
