The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/70-Tr, part SCC125070221, is an individual 250V-class Maximum Power Point Tracking solar charge controller with a 70A rated charge current. This exact SKU is the non-VE.Can Tr configuration and uses 35 mm² / AWG2 screw terminals for PV connections.
Victron specifies 12V, 24V and 48V automatic battery-voltage selection, with 36V selected through software. It has a 250V absolute maximum PV open-circuit-voltage rating in the coldest conditions and a 245V maximum startup and operating voltage. Nominal PV power is 1,000W at 12V, 2,000W at 24V, 3,000W at 36V and 4,000W at 48V.
