Description
The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150 | 70 MC4 is a high-efficiency, high-current solar charge controller designed for medium-to-large off-grid solar systems. Supporting up to 150V PV open-circuit voltage (Voc) and delivering 70A of charge output, this controller is ideal for RVs, vans, overland rigs, off-grid cabins, marine systems, tiny homes, and mobile commercial power installations.
This MC4 version includes factory-installed MC4 connectors for fast, safe, and standardized PV wiring. MC4 inputs provide secure, weatherproof connections and simplify installation when using modern RV panels or residential solar modules.
With Victron’s Ultra-Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking, the controller maximizes power harvest even during cloud transitions, shading, or low-light operation. Bluetooth Smart is built in for configuration and monitoring via VictronConnect, while VE.Direct ensures full system integration with Cerbo GX hardware.
