The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150 | 70 TR is a high-efficiency, high-current solar charge controller designed for medium-to-large off-grid solar systems. Supporting up to 150V PV open-circuit voltage (Voc) and delivering 70A of charging output, it is ideal for RV solar systems, tiny homes, cabins, marine power systems, overlanding setups, and mobile power trailers.
The TR version uses large screw terminals for PV and battery wiring, allowing secure connections with oversized conductors—ideal for custom installations or systems requiring heavy-gauge wiring. This version is preferred in professional or commercial builds due to more flexible cable routing and robust terminations.
Featuring Victron’s Ultra-Fast MPPT algorithm, the controller maximizes solar harvest even during shading, low-light, and changing weather conditions. Built-in Bluetooth Smart enables wireless monitoring through VictronConnect, while VE.Direct provides integration with Cerbo GX and other Victron Energy system components.
